This technical assistance programme aims to provide the Algerian Transport Administration with management and administration tools and systems to pilot and implement sector liberalisation through an assistance and accompaniment programme. The programme will include concrete actions mainly involving the training of personnel, getting the liberalisation under way in previously selected authorities and adapting legislative and regulatory regulations currently in force, as well as implementing a reliable information system.
