In order to fully harmonise the country with the European Union acquis, Spanish specialists will work with their Turkish counterparts in preparing the fishing sector in Turkey.
This project aims to establish a road map to create strong fishing institutions and improve the institutional capacity to implement specific objectives. Turkey has embarked on implementing a number of initiatives to support the practical application of the Common Fisheries Policy such as sales notes, logbooks and port offices, among others.
