Threats project (CBRN 24): materials identification and citizen protection
Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal
Framed in the European Union “CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) Centres of Excellence” initiative, the mission of this cooperation project, in which FIIAPP is collaborating, is to participate in the creation and management of a system for detection of radiological and nuclear materials that pass through borders, seaports or airports.
It will also detect each project beneficiary country's real radiological and nuclear threats, improve the practical training of border or customs guards (through simulation exercises), and propose the acquisition of appropriate equipment.
