The twinning project supports Jordan's Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in leveraging artificial intelligence technologies and personal data measures. Specifically, Spain's contribution is aimed at specific objective 2, the component it leads.
In this way, work is being done to contribute to Jordan's economic development and the well-being of its citizens by supporting the digital transition through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and Personal Data Protection (PDP) measures in accordance with EU best practices.
Project objectives
Implement personal data protection (PDP) measures in terms of legislative, administrative and regulatory frameworks, and develop the human resource capacities of the PDP Directorate.
Provide the AI Directorate with effective procedures and clear objectives to promote the development of AI technologies and applications in Jordan, and develop the capabilities of its human resources.
