Support for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Paraguay

The programme promotes sustainable development in Paraguay by accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the country.
To achieve this, theEuropean Commissionis funding this project and has designated FIIAPP to implement it.
The programme has two main objectives.One is for the country to have an efficient governance system for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, which includes official statistical data to monitor and evaluate the SDG indicators, and the other is for it to have improved public policies for implementing the 2030 Agenda, in particular SDG 5 (gender equality) and SDGs 13 and 15 (environmental protection).
It is also collaborating with the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic as a key mechanism in coping with the implementation of the SDGs and with the Congress of the Republic, the body in charge of exercising legislative power in Paraguay.
