Strengthening the State Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Moldova
Moldova
This twinning project led by FIAP seeks to support the implementation of labour standards in employment relations and working conditions in Moldova, in accordance with the EU-Republic of Moldova Association Agreement, the EU integration process and international labour standards. In addition, it seeks to strengthen the capacities of the State Labour Inspectorate to enforce labour standards in accordance with the commitments made by the Republic of Moldova in the framework of the EU integration process. It works with the State Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Moldova and the Moldovan Competition Council (CC).
The project addresses and manages the current challenges and real needs of the State Labour Inspectorate (SLI) and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, with a view to advancing the implementation of the commitments made under the Association Agreement signed in 2014 and continuing the process of harmonising its legislation and institutional structures with EU standards and requirements.
