Strengthening intermodal transport in Turkey

"Promotion of a balanced system of ecological, safe and sustainable transport in Turkey, through the harmonisation of EU legislation (Council Directive 92/106/EEC) and the strengthening of the capacities of the Turkish Ministry of Transport in intermodal and combined transport.
To achieve these objectives, experts from public institutions and private organisations involved in intermodal transport will be trained so that they can jointly draw up a National Strategy for the development of intermodal transport and a law that regulates the development of combined and intermodal transport.”
