Strengthening actions to combat corruption in the Customs Administration

"Strengthening of the Croatian Customs Administration in the implementation of anti-corruption legislation and policy to meet the pre-access requirements in connection with chapters 29 and 23 of the acquis.
The specific objective is to help the Croatian Administration Programme, as part of its National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan, to achieve international standards in order to combat and prevent corruption in an appropriate manner.
This challenge requires steps to be taken in different fields:
· Customs management,
· Customs procedures supported by Information from Technologies
· Anti-corruption backed by by a legal framework,
· Independent internal control system based on risk analysis techniques,
· Collaboration with the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime"
