"The general objective of the SAROL project is to support the Lebanese government’s programme to strengthen the rule of law and contribute towards improving the country's internal security.
It specifically focuses on the technical performance of the internal security forces (ISFs) in applying the law and aims to improve their criminal investigation techniques in collaboration with other relevant institutions involved, as well as their ability to control public order. In particular, the objective of this technical assistance will be to create and give official status to a methodology for crime scene intervention, criminal investigation and for the fields related to this by developing the internal capacity of the ISFs to train their members in these areas."
