Reinforced data protection in Israel

The European Union is funding this project to strengthen the operational capabilities and visibility of the Israeli data protection authority, the Law, Information and Technology Authority (ILITA).

The project, which is being managed by FIIAPP, will bring Israeli privacy legislation and implementation closer to the standards established in the European directive. Another project objective is to raise general awareness of data protection among the Israeli Public Administration, data managers and the general public.
