Programme to improve security in St. Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis
This technical assistance project, financed by the European Commission and which FIIAPP is helping to manage, consists of application of a programme for improvement of security in St. Kitts and Nevis. It supports the modernisation of police forces, infrastructures and equipment, and inter-agency coordination in the country.
Among other activities, police training programmes will be developed on prevention and detection, and equipment for security forces will be upgraded. In addition, the project places specific emphasis on upgrading infrastructure and equipment for new training centres and rehabilitation of prison facilities.
