Institutional and human capacity building of the Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology (GEOSTM)

The objective of the project is to strengthen the institutional and human capacities of the Georgian National Agency for Standardisation and Metrology (GEOSTM) to meet the requirements arising from the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Area, through the continuation of the legal approximation process, the development of national quality infrastructure institutions, the alignment of GEOSTM practices and procedures with those of the EU, as well as the extension of the network in the field of metrology and standardisation, with particular attention to European research programmes, e.g. the European Metrology for Innovation and Research Programme.
