Improvement of employment conditions in Georgia

This Twinning project, funded by the European Union and in whose management the FIIAPP participates, works to improve the conditions of employment and labour relations, as well as health and safety at work in Georgia.

The overall objective of the project is to support higher standards in employment relationships and working conditions through the improvement of the legal framework and the application of the law.

It will collaborate with the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons of the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs (MoIDPLHSA) of the country and other related organisations to promote the drafting of legal administrative provisions, establish institutional mechanisms to promote the improvement of labour conditions and relations, as well as health and safety, including a labour inspection system. Likewise, the ability of national institutions to implement and adopt European best practices will be strengthened.
