The objective of the EUROsociAL Salud (Health) project is to make health policies and programmes part of the Latin American political agenda. The intention is to increase social protection in matters of health, healthcare systems and services, promoting primary care prevention and health promotion strategies.
This EU-funded project also aims to reinforce knowledge, skills and links between Latin American political and institutional actors in the health area and their European peers, to contribute to sustainable development in public health policies aimed at reducing poverty, inequality and social exclusion.
